Porto's Bakery & Cafe

So it was pretty much a game changer when Porto's Bakery opened up a location in Buena Park last month. I absolutely love their food, but it was always too far away for me to visit more frequently, until now! I have to confess, I've been there three times in the past couple weeks. I don't admit to having a problem haha.

The architecture and decoration of the new building in Buena Park is seriously stunning, which is why I had to photograph it. And it's much, much larger than their other locations. The whole place feels like its own compound, with three separate lines for the coffee, cafe, and bakery areas. 

Now if you've been to Porto's before, then you already know about their delicious cheese rolls, potato balls, guava strudel, etc. My number one favorite item to order is the Papa Preparada sandwich, which is basically a potato ball sandwich. It's not listed on the official menu, but just ask for it! Anyways, while I go dream of more yummy sandwiches, check our more photos below!

DCA Food & Wine Festival

Warning: This is a very food heavy post.
On Sunday I got the chance to try all sorts of delicious food at the 2017 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (thanks Aimee!). There were over a dozen different kiosks serving small plates of yummy food/drinks throughout the park. We made sure to check out the menus for each one, but hands down the most amazing thing I ate was the French onion mac and cheese from the Onion Lair (white cheddar sauce + flavorful onions + crunchy breadcrumbs = perfection). I've never had anything like it before! If you're interested in attending, now's the time to go because the festival ends this Sunday (4/16)!
